Jafereas finally came out the infirmary about 5 AM. A note was placed on the door, neatly written:
Dear Kin,
The Life Warden took the morning off.
If you need him, please contact him over
the charm.
Thank you,
The Life Warden
As he emerged, he traveled out to the docks and looked off into the water. He traveled to the far right side, looking out into the water hoping no kin would be around. He seemed to dig in his bag for hours but it was actually mere seconds. He produced a chair, sitting on it and staring out into the bay. He summoned a book from the bag as well, and began to write with a Dragon-hide encrusted ink feather.

Dear Mother,
I have not written to you in a while. My life has turned from terrible to fantastic in a few short weeks.
As I told you in the last note, I have found a, what seems to be, permanent home.
I have become Life Warden, leader of the Life Watch. I tend to all the problems that seem to happen to the Kin.
I have began training to defend our precious Alliance in a war against a new force.
They call themselves the Iron Horde, and our Iron Vanguard are proving that we have what it takes to defeat them.
I wish you could see me now mom, You would be proud. I wish you were here.
I love you.
Jafereas Windspirit, Your son.

He took the note that he just wrote, and began to levitate it. Sitting in front of him, he brought out a flint and some steel, creating a flame, he ignited the paper. He lifted the paper high, creating a gust of wind inside a bubble, he moved it quick towards the paper, blowing it everywhere. As the paper remains fell, a few remaining shards fell down onto the ground in front of him, miraculously, the remaining words lined slightly, the words left over were "Mother", "Love", "Son". A smile came across his teary face. "I love you too mother." He proclaimed as he sat back down in the chair, falling asleep as soon as his back it the hard oak wood.
