This section is for useful add-ons I use or have found for RP, PVE, PVP, and UIs.
** required to join the guild *may be required for certain events
Curse Client: This is HIGHLY recommended. It is not an add-on but a program you can download from cruse.com that helps you easily search, install, remove, update, and manage your add-ons with a few simple clicks. This is the direct link to the download RIGHT HERE
** Inter-Guild Link: This is an add-on where all you need to do is install it, and forget about it. All it does it help allow our alt guild (Court Of The Fallen) to be linked with our main guild (Kinship Of The Fallen) via officer chat and guild chat. I ask that EVERYONE please download and install this, the more people who have it running, the more stable our link will be. The link was already established and configured by the guild leaders so there is nothing else that needs to be done except downloading it. (can be found on Curse Client)
WIM: This is an amazing chat add-on that makes getting whispers so much simpler. WoW instant messanger. When someone whispers you instead of having it show up crammed into your chat box, or hidden in a separate window it pops up the whisper in an instant message format (like yahoo, or AIM). The whisper windows can be moved around, display the person's name, class, race, guild, level as well as have quick click buttons on the side to ignore user, invite to party, add to friends, etc. In the options section you can also record a history and log all your chats/whispers to view later.
**TRP2: You can check the TRP2 guide, but this is a required add-on for joining the guild with WAY too many features to list here. Total Role-Play 2. It allows custom naming and titles, item creations (that are linkable and tradable), quest creations, custom tooltip information (when you mouse over someone else with TRP2, the tooltip will display custom info that person has typed on their TRP2. No more searching through a character sheet for important "need to know" info about that toon. And much much more...on this page!
*Healers Have to Die: This is a must have PVP add-on that will display a raid warning when your groups healer is under attack, as well as display a large and obvious red plus sign over enemy healers heads, making finding the healer in a BG very simple. (This is not required but if you like to PVP and don't have it or one like it it is recommended you get it)
*AV Enabler: This is another good PVP add-on, it allows for groups larger then 5 to queue as a group for battle grounds. BUT everyone queuing needs to have the add-on, so if you plan on joining us for the CRT you will need to download this add-on.
Tongues: This is a nifty RP language add-on. It allows for a simple click to switch between languages as well as accents, and other influences such as slurs and stutters. I will say do not use the Gilnean accent because I've tried it and it makes no sense what so ever.
Silver Dragon: This is for help finding rare mobs. When you are in an arena and there is a rare mob present it will pop up a raid warning with a sound alerting you to the mob, as well as pop up a small window with a picture of the mob and its level. When you click the window it will auto target the mob if you are in range.
Misspelled: This add-on was a god send to me, much like in Microsoft word and other word processing programs when you are typing in a whisper or the chat box if a word is misspelled it will high light it in a different color and allow you to right click and bring up a list of possible correct spellings to fix it.
Loremaster: This is to help anyone after the Loremaster achievement. It will being up a box with current continents and zones and tell you every quest there is to do, as well as show a "!" on the world map as to where quests are. Once a quest is done it will remove the "!" from your map. It will also tell you if quests start from item drops, and what mob drops them and where they can be found.
Add-on Control Panel: This is a neat add-on that will add an "add-on" option on the main game menu that will allow you to disable and enable add-ons with out having to fully exit the game.
Where to Now: This is a leveling add-on that will give you a simple button you can mouse over that will tell you the areas to quest in based on your current level.
Factionizer: This will allow you to organize your factions based on where you stand with them (friendly, honored etc) as well as give you details as to the best ways to increase your rep with the selected group.
Gladius: A useful arena add-on that will display what you are fighting as well as show important alerts as to if the enemy is drinking, or low on health.
Mogit: A must have for all transmorg junkies. This will allow you to search ALL armor in the game based on armor class (cloth, leather, etc) and slots (head, chest) it will then give a scrolling display of the armor on your character and allow you to save selected pieces so you can easily piece together full xmog sets with out having to use the AH, or atlas loot. It also will tell you where the pieces come from and even allow you to preview them on other races and genders, so you can be on a male dwarf and still piece together a set for your female human and see how it looks on them. It also displays hunter pets, companion pets, and mounts.
Overachiever: Another achievement add-on that will show in the tool tip if a mob or item is needed for an achievement and what needs to be done. An example is for the achievement to /love selected animals mousing over a bunny if you have already /loved it, it will display "already loved" if you still need it for the achievement it will display "need to /love".
ElvUI: This is an amazing UI I just discovered and have been using since the patch. Sadly you can not download it at Curse, instead you can get it at Tukui. However I advise not deleting your old UI right away, instead disable it, get EvlUI and spend some time messing with it to determine if you like it, if you don't just delete it and enable your old UI.
This post/thread is under constant construction as the world turns. Please be patient.
